I apologise for the lateness of this reminder, but we were waiting to hear the latest advice and guidance from the government before finalising arrangements for restarting rehearsals.
It does seem an age since we last met and hopefully you will be able to join our rehearsals commencing tomorrow, Thursday 6
th January, at the usual time of 7.15.
As a committee we are very keen to ensure that we provide as safe an environment as possible for everybody; for this reason, we have decided to continue rehearsals in the church where we can best ensure appropriate social distancing and good ventilation.
- We do appreciate it can be cold and so would remind members to dress appropriately.
- As last term, we will provide hand sanitiser and ask members to wear masks.
- We understand it is not always possible to get hold of Lateral Flow Tests, but we would encourage people to take a lateral Flow Test before a rehearsal: this will help identify anybody who may have Covid but not have symptoms.
- As before, we would ask members not to attend rehearsals if they have any symptoms or are feeling unwell.
We do understand that it is a personal choice when people decide to return to rehearsals.
Rehearsal - 6th January: please bring your copy of Faure’s Requiem to rehearsal. (Concert date - 7
th May 2022).
We have 20 copies of Faure’s Requiem for hire at a refundable cost of £5.
